Materials and care of the jewellery:

Enamel pieces: The torch firing technique of Carmens style of organic enameling is meant to age and shift over daily wear. Although aging is part of wearing enamel styles, removing pieces before swimming, showering or doing manual labour can help maintain the enamel pattern over time.

Pieces with pearl, turquoise, lapis lazuli: These gems are softer and more susceptible to impact from chemicals and washing detergents/polishing agents. Lessening their exposure to these chemicals over time will ensure their lustre remains.

Gold and silver pieces: We use the highest quality alloys available, this careful sourcing combined with expert goldsmithing means our pieces are suitable for daily wear and styling.
